We value and cherish our close partnership with St Nicholas Church which is at the heart of our village community.
This relationship plays an important role in the life of our school and helps to strengthen our Christian vision and values. Through our partnership with St Nicholas', children are given regular opportunities to experience the Christian faith in a meaningful and welcoming way, while also developing a sense of belonging within the wider community.
We work closely with members of the church to support the spiritual development of our pupils. Clergy and church representatives are involved in the life of the school through collective worship, special services, visits, celebrations, and community events. Their presence helps children to make connections between Christian teaching, worship, and everyday life.
Visits to the church also feature other curriculum areas such as Art, History, well being, quiet thinking and spiritual reflection.
